At the end of each working day, it’s important to clean and shut down your CraftyJet™ DTF printer correctly. This routine helps prevent ink build-up, protects the printhead and capping station, and keeps print quality consistent. Once you begin this process, make sure you complete every step before leaving the machine.

For your safety: Do not leave the printer mid-process once cleaning has started. Completing the full shutdown routine helps protect the print system and reduces the risk of clogs or printhead issues.

Step-by-step

  1. Press and hold the left button on the printer control panel to move the printhead carriage to the maintenance position at the far left of the printer.

Note: Only wipe the printhead if it shows misty. If wiping the printhead only use a lint free swab, and wipe up and down not side to side

  7. Wet an IPA wipe with cleaning/capping solution. Carefully clean around the edges of the printhead and the face plate, taking care not to wipe across the printhead itself.
