Welcome, {firstName}

At the end of each working day, it’s important to clean and shut down your CraftyJet™ DTF printer correctly. This routine helps prevent ink build-up, protects the printhead and capping station, and keeps print quality consistent. Once you begin this process, make sure you complete every step before leaving the machine.
For your safety: Do not leave the printer mid-process once cleaning has started. Completing the full shutdown routine helps protect the print system and reduces the risk of clogs or printhead issues.
Step-by-step
Press and hold the left button on the printer control panel to move the printhead carriage to the maintenance position at the far left of the printer.

Wet the IPA wipe with the capping solution Use the wet IPA wipe to clean the capping station cup seal, removing any visible ink residue.

Clean the capping station cup seal Using a new IPA wipe wetted with cleaning/capping solution, gently pinch the wipe around the wiper blade so it makes contact on both sides. Wipe downward to remove any ink residue.

Clean the wiper blade Go to the left-hand side of the printer and use a mirror to look underneath the printhead carriage, or crouch down and inspect it directly.

Inspect underneath the printhead carriage Wet a printhead-safe swab with cleaning/capping solution and gently wipe the printhead from front to back. Use only light pressure, just enough for the swab to pass across the surface.
